APEDA, a Statutory Body under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India is the apex organization engaged in the work related to the development of export trade of agricultural products and processed food from India.

APEDA intends to make recruitment to the following post in its organization  

Job Title: Assistant Manager

No of Vacancies: Total Five (50) 

(2 Unreserved, 1 SC, 1 OBC and 1 EWS) (Competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts/ vacancies)

Hiring Organization: APEDA (Agricultural and processed food products export development authority)

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary/Remuneration: Level 6 (Rs. 35400 – 112400) (a Group B post)

Qualification: Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary /Food Processing /Foreign Trade/ Plantation/ Management Degree in the above fields e.g. Agriculture Management from recognized University/Institution

Desirable: Master’s Degree in the above specializations from recognized University/Institution, publication of papers in international journals in the above fields  

Age Eligibility: 30 years 

Relaxation in upper age limit is available for claiming age relaxation as under

SC / ST- 5 years, OBC- 3 years, PwD-10 years, Ex-Servicemen (ESM) -3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date, Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof- 3 years, Employees working in APEDA holding posts on regular basis with at least three years continuous service-5 years
