Employment Type: Contract Basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- (consolidated) for each position

Qualification: Master’s degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life science/Bioinformatics/Agriculture Biotechnology or any relevant discipline with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. 

Candidates having post-graduate degree in basic sciences/relevant subject with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification and 2 years experience as mentioned in OM No. Edn. / 6 / 27/2014-HRD dated 13th July 2015 and 9 th October, 2015 of the council, and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dtd 30/01/2019.

Experience: Research experience in plant transformation preferably in wheat transformation, Molecular analysis of transgenic plants, growing wheat in hydroponics, artificial media and soil, Development and manipulation of transformation vector. Also should have sound knowledge of designing construct for gene editing, microscopy and Bioinformatic analysis (mainly genome analysis, transcriptome analysis, knowledge of R)
