Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs.1,44,200/- pay scale 

Qualification: (i). An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ relevant/allied discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed, UGC-listed or NAAS rated journals and a total research score of One Hundred and Twenty (120) as per the criteria given in UGC regulation, 2018. 

(ii). A minimum of ten (10) years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor and/ or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having guided at least one doctoral candidate as Supervisor or two doctoral candidates as Co-supervisor.

Having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years‟ experience.

Relevant disciplines: Food Technology/Food Science/Food Science and Technology/ Food Processing Technology/Food Technology and Management

Age Eligibility: There is no age limit for the posts of Professor, with relaxation of 05 years in case of OBC and SC/ST category and 15 years relaxation for PWD. 05 years relaxation to regular employee of State of UP as per GO no.

Date of Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Teaching Skills test and interview.
