Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs.37,000 +24% HRA (with possibility of upgradation to SRF at Rs.42,000 + 24% HRA during 3rd year)

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science(Biotechnology/ Material Science/ Environment Science/ Chemistry/ any relevant discipline of life sciences, etc.) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course(Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering etc.) selected through a process described through any one of the following: 

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR/UGC/NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE,DOS,DRDO, MoE, ICAR,ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER,NISER etc.

Experiences: Research experience in genome editing/ maize transformation/ polymer technology/ bioplastics development.

Age Eligibility: Up to 28 years as on the last date of application for General & EWS category. Age relaxation of up to 5 years (33 years) for SC/ ST/ Differently Abled/ Women candidates and up to 3 years (31 years) for OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.

Date of Interview: candidates shall be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria, educational performance and/or relevant research experience, if applicable. Only, shortlisted candidates shall be informed about the screening results via email and shall be invited to attend online/ in person interview
