Job Title: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Young Professional-II (YP-II) (Economics or Agri-Business)

Hiring Organization: ICAR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MILLETS RESEARCH

Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- + HRA for SRF per month. (Fixed salary) OR

                                      Rs.42,000/- for YP-II per month. (Fixed Salary)

Qualification: Post-graduation degree in any discipline in Agriculture/ Horticulture/and allied subjects (allied subjects include agri-business management, business management, agricultural marketing, etc.)/ any other relevant qualification from a recognized university 

a. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in the academic subjects mentioned above, along with a 4-year Bachelor's degree and a 2-year Master's degree, will be considered for SRF. 

b. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in the above-mentioned academic subjects with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Master's degree with NET qualification or Ph.D. will be considered for SRF. 

c. Candidates with postgraduate degree in the above-mentioned academic subjects with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2years of Master's degree without NET qualification will be considered for YP II.

Experiences:  Develop research and policy reports based on primary and secondary research in millet crops. 

 Conduct literature reviews, collect research data and analyze the research data of social and extension-related schemes and policies 

 Proven track record of dealing with multiple stakeholders in social and extension activities and programs. 

 Excellent skills in documentation and report writing 

 Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English and Hindi), MS Office skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders 

 Willingness to travel

 
Age Eligibility: Maximum age limit 35 years for men & 40 years for women for SRF, For YP-II: 45 years; Relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per rule.
