Job Title: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Young Professional-II (YP-II) (Bioinformatics)

Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- + HRA for SRF per month. (Fixed salary) OR

                                      Rs.42,000/- for YP-II per month. (Fixed Salary)

Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant breeding/ Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/Life Sciences 

a. Candidate with a postgraduate degree in the academic subjects mentioned above, along with a 4-year Bachelor's degree and a 2-year Master's degree, will be considered for SRF. 

b. Candidate with a postgraduate degree in the above-mentioned academic subjects with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Master's degree with NET qualification or Ph.D. will be considered for SRF. 

c. Candidates with postgraduate degree in the above-mentioned academic subjects with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Master's degree without NET qualification will be considered for YP II.

Experiences: Research experience in the application of next generation (NGS) DNA/RNA sequencing data, bioinformatics tools and applications, NGS software, R programming, Linux, in crops or animals

 
Age Eligibility: Maximum age limit 35 years for men & 40 years for women for SRF, For YP-II: 45 years; Relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per rule.
