Salary/Remuneration: Rs.42,000/- (consolidated)

Qualification: Master’s degree in relevant subjects (Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/Life sciences) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years masters degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015, OM No Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated, 30th January 2019 for eligibility.

Experiences: Exposure of crop plants to abiotic stresses in the field conditions and controlled environment and their physiological, biochemical and molecular analysis for stress tolerance.

Age Eligibility: Maximum age 35years for men for SRF position. For women/SC/ST/OBC, an age relaxation of 5years will be given as per govt. of India/ICAR rules
