Job Title: Senior Research Fellow(SRF)

Job Location: Ludhiana, Punjab

Hiring Organization: Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Science University.

Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs.35,000/- + 16% HRA (consolidated) per month.

Qualification: a. B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life science with a minimum OCPA of 6.0/10.0.

b. M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology/ Veterinary Public Health/ Veterinary Microbiology/ Animal Biotechnology/ M.Sc. in Biotechnology or any relevant branch of Life Science with a Minimum OCPA of 6.5/ 10.0

c. Candidates eligible for SRF should have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent as per new DST guidelines or qualified National Level Examinations conducted by central govt. Dept./ their agencies and institutions (OM: SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30,2019 and OM: SR/S9/Z-08/2019 dated July 10,2020)

Experiences: a. Should have 2years of research experience in industrial/ Academic Institutions or Science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.
b. Candidates should have knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level. The condition of knowledge of Punjabi upto Matrix Level is however, relaxable, if the candidate is found otherwise deserving.

c. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology/ knowledge/ working experience in immunological/ microbiological/ biotechnological techniques.

 
Age Eligibility: Age limit 35years (as on the date of application), which id relaxed upto 5years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates.
