Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs.49,000/- pm + HRA as per rules (Master degree holder)

                                        Rs.54,000/- pm + HRA (for Ph.D.)

Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Molecular Breeding/ Life Sciences/ Bioinformatics from recognized institute/ University.

                                                                          OR

With Master's degree holders:

 Master's degree in the relevant subject (as mentioned above) with 4/5years of bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least 3years of research experience as evidence from fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/ other engagements as circulated vide F. No.2-9/12-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and 1 research paper in Science Citation Index(SCI)/ NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30.1.2019.

Experiences: Experience in Genome editing/ genetic transformation of plants.

                                                                    OR

                        Experience in Gene Cloning & expression analysis.

                                                                    OR

                        Experience in Structural & Functional genomics.

                                                                    OR

                         Experience in plant tissue culture/ Protoplast isolation and handling. 

Age Eligibility: 40years for men and 45years for women. (Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules)
