Hiring Organization: ICAR-Central Potato Research Institute.

Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs.49,000/- pm + HRA as per rules(for Master degree holders).

                                       Rs.54,000/- pm + HRA as per rules(for Ph.D.)

Qualification: Doctorate degree in Biotechnology/ Plant molecular biology/ Plant biochemistry/ Genetics and plant breeding/ Life sciences/ bioinformatics from recognized Institute/ University.

                                                                   OR

Master degree in the relevant subject (as mentioned above 4/5years of bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 3years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/ other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/ 12-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and 1 research paper in science citation Index (SCI)/ NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30.01.2019. 

Experiences: Experience in Genome editing/ genetic transformation of plants.

                                                              OR

                       Experience in gene cloning and expression analysis.

                                                              OR
                       Experience in Structural & Functional genomics.

                                                              OR

                       Experience in Plant tissue culture/ Protoplast isolation and handling.

 

Age Eligibility: 40years for men and 45years for women. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
