Hiring Organization: Punjab Agricultural University.

Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs 54,000/- + HRA 16% per month.

Qualification: 

• B. Sc. Biotechnology/Agriculture/Horticulture/Biosciences/B.Tech. Biotechnology with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
• M.Sc. in Biotechnology /Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/Plant Breeding and Genetics with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.
• Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding and Genetics with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

Experiences: Note-I: The Candidates who do not possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at the Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: Desirable: Experience of working in the areas of Plant Biotechnology, Crop Genomics and Bioinformatics

Note-III: The Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.
