Job Title: Project Associate-II

Job Location: Kanpur (U.P)

Hiring Organization: ICAR- Indian Institute of Pulses Research 

Employment Type: Contract basis 

Salary/Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- + 16% HRA p.m to scholars who are selected through:

(a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

(b) A selection through national level examination conducted by central govt. dept. and their agencies and instructions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISCR etc.

Rs. 28,000/- + HRA for others who don't fall under (1) above.

Qualification: (a) Master degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Microbiology/ Life sciences/ Agricultural chemical/ Botany and allied sciences from a recognized university or equivalent.

(b) 2years experience in research and development in industrial and academic instructions or science and technology organization and scientific activities and services.

 
Experiences: (a) Enthusiastic for research and with a proven experience in the area of plant biochemistry/ Biotechnology, specially in metabolite analysis using spectrophotometer/LC-MS/ HPLC.

(b) Practical knowledge in handling and maintaining mutant population/ breeding population/ drought screening etc. and in computer.
 
Age Eligibility: 18-35 years on the date of interview
