Job Title: Senior Research Fellow

Job Location: Ludhiana 

Hiring Organization: PUNJAB AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY

Employment Type: Contract basis

Salary/Remuneration: Rs. 31000/- + 16% HRA p.m. fixed for 1st and 2nd year and @ Rs. 35000/ + 16% HRA p.m. fixed for 3rd year provided in the scheme entitled “Consortia for Research Platform (CRP) on Hybrid technology for high productivity in selected field and horticultural crops- Rice ICAR-78 (PC-2346)”for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Qualification: 

1. B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Biotechnology (in crop plants)with at least OCPA 6.50 /10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Experiences: Note:-1. The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: The candidates having Post Graduate degree in subjects mentioned above, but having Bachelor’s degree with three years must have passed NET and two years experience. However, the Ph.D candidates are exempted from this condition. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.

Note-III: Desirable: Experience/ Research work in relevant field.
