Employment type :The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for up to 31-03- 2024 or till completion of project whichever is earlier and may be extended periodically subject to performance of the candidate till the termination of the project.

Salary :Rs. 31000 per month +24% HRA. From 3 rd year onwards Rs 35000+24% as per DBT Circular

Age : Maximum age 35 years for JRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC), Project Associate 1: 35 years

Qualifications: Candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests (for Junior Research Fellow) as mentioned in the DST office memorandum No. SR/S9/Z08/2018, dated January 30, 2019 OR Non-NET qualified candidates (for Project Associate 1) as mentioned in the DST office memorandum No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019, dated August 21, 2019 2. Having Graduate and Master’s degree in Agriculture (4 +2 years) with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics /Seed Science and Technology only. 

Desirable: Candidate understanding plant breeding trials, experience of handling field crops, crossing techniques and statistical analysis software like R and software uploading and analysis. The work involves going for off season crossing, trial data capture for longer periods all over India and the candidate shall be willing for the same.
