Essential Qualifications: 

1. For Research Associate: M.Sc (Ag.) in Agronomy/Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry/M. Tech. in Agricultural Engineering (with specialization in farm machinery) with NET. The essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates having Ph. D Degree with course work in the above mentioned subject

For Technical Assistant: M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy/Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry/ M. Tech. in Agricultural Engineering (with specialization in farm machinery). Preferences will be given to NET qualified candidates.

2. The candidate must have a Master’s Degree with at least 60 % marks OR, equivalent overall

grade point average in the above subject with 04 years/05 years of Bachelor’s degree.

3. A relaxation of 5 % may be provided (from 60% to 55% of marks) at Master’s degree level for candidates under SC/ST category.

Terms & Conditions:

1. The selected candidate is required to work full time in the respective projects for at least 01 years from the date of joining on a contractual basis. However, further extension in the engagement period may be allowed depending upon the satisfactory performance of the candidate.

2. After the expiry of the project, the service will automatically stand terminated without any notice. The candidate will have no legal right, whatsoever for further absorption/re-engagement in the concerned project.

3. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project.

4. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
