A walk in interview is scheduled to be conducted on 12th November, 2019 at ARS, Mannuthy to select eligible candidates to the post of Assistant Professors on contract basis at ARS, Mannuthy in the discipline of Agronomy and Plant Breeding & Genetics for a period of one year or till the date of regular posting whichever is earlier

Assistant Professor (contract) in Agronomy-1 Post

Qulaification-Master’s degree in Agronomy with NET. (In the absence of candidates with NET, candidates without NET will be considered).

Consolidated Remuneration- Rs. 35000/- per month

Assistant Professor (contract) in Plant Breeding & Genetics-1 Post

Qulaification-Master’s degree in Plant Breeding & Genetics with NET. (In the absence of candidates with NET, candidates without NET will be considered).

Consolidated Remuneration-Rs. 35000/- per month

Candidates should also possess NET conducted by the ICAR/UGC/CSIR/AICTE or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission. In the absence of candidates with NET, candidates without NET but qualifying all other requirements will be considered.

The Master's Degree should be from a University recognized by Kerala Agricultural University. They should also possess a minimum of 55% marks, without any grace marks, in the traditional system or equivalent grade in a point where grading system is followed. A relaxation as 50% in marks is admissible to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically or visually disabled persons upon the production of sufficient documents in proof of the claim.

They should be citizens of India and shall not be over 40 years age as on 01/11/2019. SC/ST/OBC and differently abled persons are eligible for relaxation in age limit as per the prevailing Rules of the Government of Kerala and that of the University

The appointment will be purely on temporary basis as per the standing instructions & regulations of KAU.
