RECRUITMENT FOR TECHNICAL POSTS OF KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA, TNJFU, SIKKAL, NAGAPATTINAM DISTRICT ADVERTISEMENT No. 01 / 2019, DATED 26.02.2019  

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following positions to work at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Sikkal, Nagapattinam District with the qualification specified as hereunder.

Subject Matter Specialists (T6)

1. Agronomy
2. Fish Processing Technology
3. Horticulture  

Pay: Pre-revised PB-3 Rs.15600- 39100+GP 5400 Revised Level: 22 Rs.56100- 177500 * 

Agronomy- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture (Agronomy) or Equivalent qualifications with four years Bachelor Degree from the State Agricultural University with minimum OGPA of 2.25/4.00 or 6.5/10.0 or its equivalent. The higher qualification will be given preference. Desirable : 1. NET qualification 2. Ph.D. Qualification 3. Two years experience in KVK/Extension Education Projects activities from a reputed institution or firm. 4. Working knowledge of computer

Fish Processing Technology- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Fisheries (Fish Processing Technology) or Equivalent qualifications with four years Bachelor Degree from the State Agricultural University with minimum OGPA of 2.25/4.00 or 6.5/10.0 or its equivalent. The higher qualification will be given preference. Desirable : 1. NET qualification 2. Ph.D. Qualification 3. How to Apply: The application form duly filled-in along with a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- and in the case of SC/ST Rs.500/- drawn in favour of THE FINANCE OFFICER, TAMIL NADU Dr.J.JAYALALITHAA FISHERIES UNIVERSITY” payable at Nagapattinam should be sent, along with the application within the stipulated date. Application unaccompanied by the Demand Draft will be totally rejected. The date of Bank draft should not be prior to the date of issue of the advertisement and the same should be valid for a period of three months. Candidate must writes his/her name on the back side of the Bank Draft
