Research Associate – 01 Post – Temporary

Emolument: Rs. Rs 36000/38000/40000 as the case maybe and 30 % HRA

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Life Sciences (Plant) / Biotechnology/Botany/Agricultural Biotechnology OR

M.Sc. degree in Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Life Sciences (Plant - specialization in Plant Sciences as evidenced by dissertation) /Biotechnology (specialization in Plant Sciences as evidenced by dissertation)/Botany/Agricultural Biotechnology/ M. Tech. (Biotechnology specialization in Plant Sciences as evidenced by dissertation) with 4 or 5 years Bachelor’s degree with 1^st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average AND three or more years’ research experience. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent AND three or more years’ research experience.

Desirable: Experience in application of molecular techniques in as evidenced by research papers in peer reviewed journals with ability to run molecular mapping software

Age Limit: 40 years (Relaxation as per rules)
