Name of the Position: Food Safety Officer

Tenure & Scale of Pay: The appointment to the post will be initially on contractual foundation carrying a consolidated Pay of Rs.9300/-+ Grade Pay Rs.4200/-at the scale of pay Rs.9300/-to 34,800/-(Pre-revised) subject to revision according to orders of Government from time to time.

Age: The prescribed age limit for the article is from 21 years to 32 years according to 1.1.2017 with as usual age relaxation in favour of SC/ ST/ SEBC/Women/ PWD /Ex-serviceman/ In-service contractual employees completed one year of continuous service before the Notification of Group-B Contractual Appointment Rules-2013.

Eligibility: Minimum Educational Qualification:

(i) a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from the AICTE approved institutes/ recognized Boards/State & Statutory University) by 31.12.2017 having secured minimum mark 60 percent in the Degree level/Master Degree level (mentioned previously. In the event of mark indicated in CGPA the equal percentage of mark has to be a minimum 60 percent following conversion as applicable to this organization/institution.

(ii) Moreover, the candidate should have sufficient knowledge in computer application including windows, MS office (Word, Excel & powerpoint), MS Access & Usage of internet services.
