Junior Research Fellow- o1 post – Temporary
Project:  “Spider diversity in the Eastern Ghats of Odisha” sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India, New Delhi.

Pay Scale:  NET Qualified-Rs 25,000 p.m. plus HRA as applicable (for first two years), Rs 28,000 p.m. plus HRA as applicable (for third year); Non-NET qualified candidates can also apply, but their appointment and emoluments will be as per rules of the funding agency.

Essential Qualifications:
·Master’s in Animal Sciences/Zoology/Ecology/Wildlife/ Biodiversity & Conservation/Any other branch of Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH).
·   NET qualified candidates will be given preference.
·   The candidate will be encouraged to carry out Ph.d. on spiders as per GGSIP University rules.

Desirable:  Persons who are highly motivated towards extensive field survey and stay in remote areas in Eastern India, Knowledge of Taxonomy/Field Ecology/GIS/statistics.

Age Limit: Maximum 28Years
